Valentine Warner – Cook, author and broadcaster

Valentine Warner is well known for his deep love of food and lack of manners when sharing oysters. Originally training as a painter he later put down the brush to pick up the spoon.

Describing his cooking style as ‘international grandmother”, he has little to no interest in sous-vide baths but plenty of time to chat octopus recipes with Greek widows. His love of travel, nature and cooking has seen him make 8 series for BBC2, Fox and Nat Geographic.

He is author of 5 books. Un-squeamish, Val loves tripe and has NO dietary requirements. He is more likely found outside with a mossy stick than an office. He is currently starting a new company Kitchen In The Wild, far flung adventures for the culinary curious and is a founding partner in the Hepple Spirits Distillery, Northumberland
